we can afford to send our children to private
school and take them with us on incredible
vacations!"
In 1997, Javier and Coral M.
came back to Herbalife after a two-year
sojourn to pursue other interests.
Unfortunately, they lost everything because
of a failed investment. It was a hard blow
for the family, considering their success
with Herbalife in the early 90s.
"We
were so broke we had to move in with family
members and sleep on the floor."
"The
only thing we owned at the time was a
television," says Javier. "I knew
that Herbalife was the best way for us to
start over, so we jumped right in again-and
we haven't looked back since."
"Coral
goes to large shopping malls every day and
talks to at least 75 people, showing them ‘before-and-after'
photos so they can see for themselves how
well the products work," he explains.
"This is how we build our customer base."
"There
is a large Hispanic population in our area,"
says Coral, "so it's natural for me to
talk to people who speak Spanish where we
shop. I give them our business card, and get
a phone number from them. We have secretaries
who make the first follow-up calls within a
day or two."
For
Javier and Coral, Herbalife offered them a
second chance to build the kind of life they
always dreamed of. Both agree, not many
companies give people another chance-let
alone an opportunity to do better the second
time around. And that's exactly what has
happened to this determined couple since
returning to Herbalife.
"Today,

also validated our decision to return to
Herbalife. It's clear to us that we make a
